Chapel of Saint Jean

Built in 1674 and destroyed by a hurricane in 1925, the Saint Jean Chapel was revived in 1959 thanks to the parish priest of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, CanonViale.
Fundraising
and restoration
With the help of donations from the town’s citizens, the restored chapel was inaugurated on the 18th of.October 1959.
In 2005, the walls were restored and adornedt frescoes by the artist RalphSoupault.
The paintings representthe life and landscapes of Tourrettes-sur-Loup as well as biblical scenes from both the New and Old Testaments.
