Villefranche-sur-Mer Beach
Villefranche-sur-Mer Beach is a very nice and cozy beach with coarse sand. The long narrow beach houses many small snack bars with both food, drink and ice cream.
It is one of the very few public beaches on the coast where there is no private area. It is possible to rent sun loungers but not umbrellas.
The beach is very family friendly and many locals use it especially late in the day. The bay, off the beach, is in high season very visited by sailboats and cruise ships, which are anchored and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It gives a special atmosphere to the whole beach.
On both sides of the beach there are coastal paths to Nice and Cap-Ferrat respectively.
