World-class perfume at Parfumerie Molinard

Grasse is world famous for perfume production, and Maison Molinard Perfume is certainly worth a visit if you are curious about the flowers’ path from the local fields to the finished scent in the perfume, soap or candlelight.

Proud traditions

The museum at Maison Molinard showcases a proud and traditional collection of exclusive perfumes and both, adults and children, have the opportunity to try to mix their own bespoke scent.

Before you get that far, however, you should join the free tour of Molinard’s buildings, where in less than half an hour you will learn much more about the history of the house and the difficult art of making the precious drops.

One of the world’s oldest

The history of perfumery stretches back to 1849 and is thus one of the oldest of its kind in the world.

In the middle of the sea and the mountains, the Molinard family’s estate is located in an extraordinary area and incomparable climate, perfect for growing perfume flowers such as roses, violets, lavender, jasmine, irises and mimosa.

The Magic Spring

Spring and May are the ideal time to visit Grasse, but also the busiest period in the perfumery. The scents of Chanel No5 and the other iconic perfumes are equally seductive in the calmer autumn, where Molinard also welcomes you all week except Sunday.

Free tour

Free tour of 25 minutes, every 20 minutes. Last visit is 1 hour before closing. Close between 12:00 and 14:00 (lunch break).
