Tour description – David Niven Walk
The tour goes along the coastal path that connects the two small port towns of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Beaulieu-sur-Mer. The trail is part of the 14 kilometers of coastal path around the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula.
The highlight of the coastline is the small David Niven square with the villa Fleur du Cap.
The villa is today owned by Ana Tzarev but, earlier in the years 1962-1996, it was called Villa Lo Scoglietto – meaning “the little rock” – and was owned by the English charmer and actor, David Niven (1910-1983), and his Swedish wife and top model, Hjördis Paulina Genberg Tersmeden (1919-1997).

Tour start – David Niven Walk
The tour can start either at the beach plage Cros Deï Pin, in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, or the beach plage des Fourmis, in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. There are good parking facilities at both starting points.
If you walk from Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat towards Beaulieu-sur-Mer, you can see on the right side, along the coastline, high up on the cliffs, the picturesque towns of Èze and La Turbie. To the right of Èze, just below La Turbie, by the water, you can see the town of Cap d’Ail. The last piece of land you can see on the horizon is Italy.
