What is La Grande Braderie?
La Grande Braderie is an annual tradition in Saint-Tropez that attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world. The town’s exclusive boutiques take to the streets and squares to sell goods from the previous season at greatly reduced prices.
It’s a unique opportunity to find luxury goods at outlet prices – from haute couture and designer brands to small local gems. At the same time, the streets are buzzing with life, music and atmospheric conversations, and the whole city exudes both glamor and celebration.
Shopping in a class of its own
During La Grande Braderie you can find amazing bargains on clothes, shoes, bags and accessories from some of the world’s most exclusive fashion houses. What’s more, discounts are often 30-70% and the selection ranges from iconic labels to small, stylish boutiques.
The atmosphere is like a big treasure hunt because you never quite know what you’ll find. Many visitors also choose to combine shopping with an espresso on the café terrace or a glass of rosé on the waterfront.
Sail to La Grande Braderie from Nice or Cannes
A popular way to experience La Grande Braderie is to take the ferry from either Nice or Cannes. The trip along the beautiful coast is an experience in itself. Once you arrive in Saint-Tropez, you’ll typically have around 5 hours ashore, giving you plenty of time to combine shopping with lunch on the harbor or a stroll through the charming streets before heading back.
