As a franchisee¹, you become responsible for a destination – such as a city, region or island – and build your own guide with articles, images and recommendations. You get access to ready-made templates, SEO-optimized formats, technical support and coaching so you can focus on what matters most: creating inspiring content and building your local presence.

What is CityXee?

CityXee (pronounced City-See) is a modern, editorial travel guide where all destinations are run “locally” – by people with passion and knowledge of their area. As a franchisee, you get your own subdomain, a professional setup and access to a powerful platform where you can build and expand your own digital travel media.

Our journey so far

We started in 2022 with Côte d’Azur, where we built a guide based on local experiences, hikes, and insider tips. Today, the site has more than 200,000 visits without paid marketing, which demonstrates a strong organic presence and high relevance for travelers.

In 2025, Paris, followed, where we have created a city guide focusing on neighborhoods, culture, and experiences – a site that you now have the opportunity to take over and further develop.

We are also working on an ambitious bucket list project, which will be launched in early 2026, and which significantly strengthens the CityXee brand’s reach and commercial potential. At the same time, we are launching Copenhagen in the first half of 2026 as the next strategic destination and an important proof of concept for international and Nordic scaling. Together, these initiatives form the foundation for a thoroughly tested, scalable franchise model, which you now have the opportunity to invest in and become a part of.

Who are you?

We’re looking for you to help us expand CityXee to new cities, islands or regions in Europe and the rest of the world. Maybe you already have a special destination in mind – a place you’re passionate about presenting and developing as your own CityXee platform.

You are passionate about your destination and can write or coordinate good content.
You have a flair for digital systems and enjoy working in WordPress with Elementor.
You are curious about – or used to – using AI tools for e.g. copywriting, research or image generation.
You don’t need a technical background – we give you the tools and support to get started.

Price of your new site

It costs 2.671 EUR excl. VAT for setup and onboarding of a CityXee subdomain (one-time cost). After that, there’s an ongoing monthly fee of 268 EUR excl. VAT, which covers license, hosting, support, ongoing updates, and access to our shared analytics and SEO tools and content templates. You get a complete solution with full support – ready to launch your own CityXee site.

At CityXee, the path to success is surprisingly simple. Your new site only needs to generate a turnover of €6 a day – then the overheads are covered and you can start making money. This means that even small ambitions can quickly turn into a good business.
